Festivals come and go, your items you collect, should all be saved , many of the items are bound to account, although some items are bound to Character, don't discard them, you can often reuse them in your next life, even if it is a different class, I am sure that that won't go to waste.

 

Here are some usefull tips while in Public areas of a Festivals like Crystal Cove...

 

First of all your summoning critters will not work, unless it is labeled as a PET, or while in the quest area where you do the challenge usually in the timed area.   Do not change your summoning creatures spells, once you get to area of the timed quests where  you get experience points, you'll be able to cast them, or use hirelings, if you are short of people in your party.

 

Buffs work in public areas and will remain in effect till you enter the quest area.  (Let's Raid)

In the public area you can create a Raid Party to collect maps, items, and coins, but you have to be the same instance as everyone else to benefit of shared treasure.   You must break up the raid party to enter the quest areas , just like a regular quest, you can split the party into red and blue teams, in  most festivals.  Make sure you tell your party members to reenter the same instanence afterwords and reform the raid to gain maximum benefits.

 

BTC items do not have to be the toon being played at the time, you can highest level toon to collect the items before they are assembled or traded, if you have a shared account.  Most ingredient items are either Non bound for trading and BTA, the prize treasure is sometimes BTA and some are BTC so beware and read carefully before selecting the item in the trading box.

 

Buy a large collectable bag, The Festival items are usually stored in the Red Collectable bags,  You can only have one  of each size of each type of bag per toon.  In  otherwords you can have only one small size bag of say Gems, but you can carry a medium size as well,  keep em on your Packtoon on the main account. Put a note on the spreadsheet so you can find your special items like collectible BTA etc.

Do not put any BTC items in the collectable bag, because you won't be able to freely trade it to one of your other toons when it is time to give the items to you other toon to go to the trading boxes of any place that has a trade box.
