Breaking News : July 15 2013: DDO Update...

 

WOTC without any notification today changed  the game of DDO, it now features Multi instance , You can now run DDO multiple times in the same PC, using Windows, no news about MAC OS, but 95% of the players use Windows, so now you don't need to run two PC's at the same time, or more... just make sure you have a lot of RAM to run 2 or more instances of the game, there are no modification or anything to do other then  Hold the Alt Key and press  Tab  once to switch beteen screens.  I accidently click on  the start Icon of DDO and another login screen came up, so I logged in and well it worked :)     Warning  If you are running ddo on  a slow PC or with one with less then 4 GB of RAM, your PC will be much slower,  I would only use this for trading items and such, adventuring with multi instance would be a royal pain.  To switch screens Hold down the ALT Key and press the TAB key once.   The more instances you run the more memory and faster PC you'll need.

 

Note information is reprinted on the Packmule page as well, since this has other uses, however about 90% of the time, this tip will  be used while running any of your packmules for trading and buffing your toons.
